Guidelines & contraindications
Before your peel
- 7-10 days prior: stop retinoids, tretinoin, acids, and exfoliants.
- 4 weeks prior: no laser treatments or laser hair removal.
- 7 days prior: no waxing, hair removal creams, Botox, or fillers.
After your peel
- Same evening: gentle facial cleanse is fine.
- 24-72 hours: no non-mineral makeup, gym, or hot yoga.
- 7 days: no exfoliants, AHAs/BHAs/retinol, waxing, threading, swimming, or saunas.
- 4-6 weeks: no laser hair removal.
Not suitable if you…
- Use retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or antibiotics (7-14 days before/after).
- Have active bacterial, viral, fungal, or herpetic infections, or open wounds.
- Have inflammatory dermatosis (psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pemphigus).
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Used Accutane within 6-8 months.

How does it work?
The primary function of BioRePeel is to exfoliate the skin using natural acids, enzymes, and microspheres to remove dead cells and impurities. Unlike conventional TCA peels targeting superficial layers, it addresses root causes for longer-lasting results. It suits all skin types and isn't photosensitive.
Will my skin peel and become flaky?
BioRePeel is considered a low-downtime peel without significant peeling. Mild, occasional peeling in certain areas may occur as the skin naturally renews; this is expected.
What are the pre and post-treatment instructions?
Pre-peel: avoid exfoliants 48 hours before. Skip AHAs, BHAs, retinols, and self-tanners for one week. Avoid waxing and hair removal for 14 days. Avoid direct sun exposure for 14 days.
Post-peel: skip makeup for 24-48 hours. Avoid AHAs, BHAs, and retinols for 14 days. Avoid waxing for 14 days. Skip swimming, saunas, sunbeds, tanning, and self-tanners for 14 days.
How many treatments will I need?
For an optimal BioRePeel experience, we advise beginning with a minimum of 4-6 sessions spaced two weeks apart initially, then monthly maintenance visits.
